We currently offer three paper options for the Personal Style cookbooks: Standard, Premium, and Rite in the Rain®.
The Standard option is a 70lb stock and has a beautiful, clean matte finish. It is economical, but is not water or stain resistant.
The Premium option is a 100lb stock and has a shiny gloss finish, perfect for books filled with photos. It is slightly water resistant, but will leave a water stain.
The Rite in the Rain® option is a 32lb stock and has a strong, durable matte finish and is water and spill resistant, perfect for the kitchen. Most liquids can be wiped off without leaving a stain.
Please note: Photo brightness will vary depending on paper type.
Pricing for the Premium and Rite in the Rain® paper upgrades depends on how many pages are in your book. When you are preparing your digital proofs, you will see the cost of the paper upgrade and have the option to add it to your book. Our covers are coated to be spill resistant.

Can you wipe clean the premium paper since it is gloss
Hi Christine, the premium paper is glossy but is not laminated so it does not wipe clean. It can still stain, but it will withstand more wear than our standard paper will.
The price for the upgrade to premium paper has increased by almost doubled in the last two weeks. I had put this in cart previously thought I had ordered and did not since the price increase. Do you offer any promotions?
