Adjust Spacing Between Recipes and Photos

If you’d like more control over how your recipe pages look, you can adjust the spacing between recipes and photos on supported layouts. This is especially helpful for preventing text from overlapping a photo or reducing extra white space on the page.

You can use the spacing controls to:
  • Move the bottom photo up or down.
  • Adjust the space between recipes on a two-recipe page.
How to Adjust the Spacing
  1. Open the recipe page you’d like to edit.
  2. Select a supported layout with a photo at the bottom.
  3. Use the spacing control to move the divider:
    • Upto reduce the space.
    • Downto create more space.
  4. ClickSaveto apply your changes.
When to Use It
This feature is most useful when:
  • A recipe is too close to or overlapping a photo.
  • There’s too much blank space between two recipes.
  • You want to create a more balanced, polished page layout.

NOTE: Spacing adjustments are available on recipe page layouts that include a photo at the bottom of the page and two recipes per page layouts

Small adjustments can make a big difference in the overall appearance of your cookbook.
